Full subscription integration with Stripe

A I understand it, the current WooCommerce does not use strip subscriptions but pigybacks on the standard purchase option. I would like to see greater integration between both softwares with regards to subscription services. The current system feels bodged and requires a bit of back and fourthing between both platforms.
