  Any idea what the timing of this plugin will be? I saw this answer on a thread from last year and wondering how close it is to being launched before I spend time doing a workaround....

  This is the type of thing I have found is handled far better with a plugin. Maybe WooThemes will make a "Sociable" plugin, along the same lines as Features and Testimonials. I agree with their strategy of ripping out the code and plugin-izing it, leaving the theme to do the styling.

  It all depends on the icons used. I could do them all for mystile and maybe another one (not really a graphics expert though), but on the pinterest link provided below i provided the code which is pretty easy to copy for any other media link and an icon for pinterest with css

  I agree. Instagram, which you list above, is one that I would like to see added to the Subscribe & Connect options.
