I'd like to see this as a stock option. It would be nice for the simpler sites to have this functionality.

Agreed! This would be great. The slider also needs to be super lightweight and fast. Maybe get some ideas from Soliloquy slider: http://soliloquywp.com/

I'd like it to avoid the "jump" that happens in WooSlider, when you open the page the slider takes time to load and shifts the page layout. Also responsive text, pretty please :)

Yes, full-width like Whitelight, but without the huge up/down arrows that cover content in mobile view. Do it like WooSlider, with arrows that appear with mouseover/touch. And don't forget the often-absent pause/play button, which gives control back to the visitor. There's not much worse you can do to a site visitor than take viewing control away from them. A top webcrime is to set the slider timer too short, requiring your visitors to click on a back arrow multiple times because they're not finished looking at one of your slides.

I agree 100% with Kaitlin's and Ken's comments. Toggling responsive on & off only "kind of" works right now. Also, the ability to more easily create full width header, nav and footer would be great, too.

Just a footnote. Woo does not have all the answers, neither do many so called developers when it comes to understanding what business websites needs. Please provide a proper channel for new features.

The jewel in the crown is canvas. Right now, it needs reviewing re child themes, plugins and training materials.

I've been looking at the pootle press videos and learned a lot. Why not commission jamie to make some videos on hooks, CSS and woo commerce extensions

There's an opportunity to learn from several theme developers here, and one feature that's crucial with a full width slider is to ensure you have a movie substitute. You should also have an option to turn off or on for responsive devices.

I also want the ability to add more widget area in header and footer area, plus additional CSS classes.
