Booking calendar plugin
It would be so useful to have a booking calendar plugin that can be used on any theme. You're already halfway there with Diner's reservation bookings. It would be great to see something that can be used either for reservations (hotel, restaurant), or service bookings (consulting, spa)
There are a few available plugins like this for Wordpress, but I haven't found one that is particularly good. The Woo team could definitely build a superior plugin.
What about an hotel theme. Would be great if it could be integrated with Google apps / calendar for making bookings directly. Then resellers could also connect to the same Google calendar and see if there is any rooms left. The theme would use lots of images for showing of the rooms.
Be great to have a theme that allows me to rent my cottage though a WP theme.
Availability calendar with allowing admin to select block weeks and colour them on the calendar as 'available' 'booked'
Enquiry forms that link to the calendar.
Customer database allowing you to send confirmation emails, updates and newsletters.
Just a thought, be great if you could do one :)
Hairdressers, beauticians, dieticians etc run their business by appointment. Would like to see a theme that included a booking facility (like in diner) but that only allows a time to be booked a certain number of times based on the number of therapists/stylists/whatevers are working in the business (can be managed day by day), sends reminders to clients. Also to include here in a commerce section to show case and sell the products stocked by the business.
I want this for classes PLEASE....here are some ideas I have.
1. My classes are weekly and I want to charge monthly...problem is sometimes there are 5 weeks in a month..I would need the booking calendar to charge for that extra week that month.
2. Have the time slot open back up if someone cancels
3. Recurring payments.

Love this idea!
Dear Santa Claus,
All I want for Christmas this year is a Woocommerce Booking Extension, which would all me to sell my adventure trips online. Please let the team over at woothemes finish up this project soon!
Summer is quickly approaching and I may need to go with an alternative route for booking. But would really like to stay loyal to woo.
- Best Holiday wishes
You can aslo use gravity forms
i could surely use a datepicker for packages i sell. Clients can choose courses/activities and i need to know which dates they want to follow them.
Considering the fact that my clients have 1 or two weeks in the region, dates are very important
We make the client a proposal but if he/she could input some dates already, this would simplify my life.

What about clients who sell Training Courses (Not online with a quiz) its a very basic need for the user to click on "Book Now" and be able to pick a date for which course they would like!!!! Im absolutely baffled as to why nobody seems to think this is not an absolute must????
Also forgot to add, if you need beta testers.. I have many hotel & b&b clients so would have some good real world insight to add.
Will this plugin support seasonal rates? Also can you create packages that use specific or selectable rooms and then of course use that availability?
Really hope you all can release it this month! Anxiously awaiting.
Do you have a rough idea of when this is going to be released? I need to know for a job I'm currently putting a price together for!
@Anonymous- I imagine this could be a feature added in a future version, if not supported in V1.
@Dave- it's coming along really nicely. Not yet ready for release, though. :)
Hows this one coming along guys? keen to trial it on a site.
Will this extension be able to handle deposits? I need it to sell tours and each trip has a few predefined start dates. I would need to have a deposit option for each start date. The remaining balance would be due 60 days prior to start of trip. I'm really looking forward to this, hopefully it will be out this month?
Thanks in advance
Bookings will be a paid-for plugin.

Is the official plugin going to be a free or paid one?
Not everyone can afford $US79 lol!
@maurito - There is a lot of movement on the development of this. :)
@Anonymous - Please keep an eye on this idea item for updates, as they develop. We're quite nicely into development already (I'll update the status of this idea to reflect this).
update please :-) When do you expect to release the booking plugin?
Is it possible there are no updates to give?
Eagerly awaiting this feature. Thanks for working on it.
Has this happened yet?
Desperate for this plugin!
