It would be so useful to have a booking calendar plugin that can be used on any theme. You're already halfway there with Diner's reservation bookings. It would be great to see something that can be used either for reservations (hotel, restaurant), or service bookings (consulting, spa)

There are a few available plugins like this for Wordpress, but I haven't found one that is particularly good. The Woo team could definitely build a superior plugin.

I would love the ability to add Mega Menus to themes, whether that be a new part of the framework or a new plugin.

By Mega Menu, I'm referring to the larger, expanded menus that allow for the multiple columns to pop up during roll over and the insertion of HTML items (images, etc).

For a direct application, I think Listings is a great first install. Being a directory theme, it that will most likely display LOTS of subcategories and a Mega Menu would make this much more manageable.

Add the option to set the slider(s) in canvas to be full width like Whitelight slider.

Update popular themes (e.g. canvas) to include high resolution images to take advantage of Apples new retina display on the new iPad, iPhone and Macbool Pro.

why would you have a theme that allows for classified ads, buying and selling when you don't offer easy integration with payment services for uploading products and for buyers to pay sellers? it seems like you're missing the boat and it should be an easy fix

It would be awesome to be able to bulk import post data (eg. from CSV, etc) to Listings, including custom fields.

Whitelight is a responsive theme, but if you combine it will the column shortcodes it will not be responsive anymore. Those columns are based on %s, but I imagine it would be easy to say, after a certain width, they become full page width.

It would be great to allow more than one portfolio section. For example, I would like to have a portfolio section just for paintings, and one just for drawings etc

I guess you might argue this was similar to the StudioPress/Genesis approach.

Function uses blog posts for the slider instead of the "Slides" custom post type like other business themes.

This was done based on the design spec of the theme.

Adding an option for a Slide post type would make the theme operate like other business themes.
