Write the WooCommerce transient data to a prefix_woocommerce_transientdata table instead of prefix_options. Make sure the table is innodb.
Temporary data can be excessive with a lot of traffic. This should not be associated with the wp_options table. It should be written to it's own table so that it does not affect the core website upon corruption.27 votes
Would love to see a Chase Paymentech Canada plugin similar to the one that is available for US customers. As this is already available for US customers it shouldn't be much difference to implement for Canadian customers. Love your products and themes. Keep up the good work!9 votes
There is a 3rd party plugin but I'm skeptical of it's compatiblity so I think WooThemes should make a plugin for a progress bar at checkout similar to the way Yoast suggests. https://yoast.com/checkout-page-improvements/8 votes
I think being able to add attributes at a variation level could be quite useful (as mentioned here - https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/7944)
The guy doesn't seem to have posted the idea here (as suggested by you guys) so I thought I would add it.
- import feature allows to add customers, vouchers and orders and merge customers and vouchers (modify existing information if customer ID or voucher ID are given).
- import feature does NOT allow to merge orders (modifying or adding data to existing orders)
- adding or modifying meta information (e.g. for custom fields)
- updating the status of orders (if exported, handled outside the system and then imported)
Highly valuable, even if only for non critical information such as products, quantities, payment gateways etc.11 votes
The EU VAT Number plugin needs to be improved in order to follow the EU law guidelines. Only businesess OUTSIDE of the shop base country should optionally not be charged. All businesess INSIDE of the base country must be charged VAT. The plugin now has an illegal behaviour because it allows selling without taxes in a base country, which has no sense. We have disabled the plugin because people were trying to buy inside our base country without paying taxes.5 votes
It would be awesome to include multiple calendar ID's for integration with the resources. I have a store with multiple employees, This would allow a customer to book and for that appointment to go directly to a specific calendar that we share with a specific employee (we have 6) . Currently the appointments make it to the shop calendar and we must filter all the appointments to the correct calendar. It would be nice to be able to set the plugin to take advantage of this basic Google Calendar functionality.36 votes
The idea is to apply the set product labels also to the product detail page instead of only on the product archive page.
Maybe only when a checkbox is marked?9 votes
I run a site that sells membership access to students by academic level. As such, memberships must end by the end of an academic year say, 31 December regardless of the date they are individually activated.
In addition, I'll still need to be able to manually change the expiry dates of individual members in the event of an extension request.
Hope this feature will be included in the near future.
Edit: Does anyone know if Sensei support this feature?4 votes
Ability to add product add-ons once to the product, no matter the quantity ordered136 votes
We really need the ability to control where the Amazon Payments button shows on the cart and checkout pages.10 votes
Flat rates and FedEx plugin integration.
Currently you can only ship products from one location. It would be nice to have shipping automatically calculate rate (whether flat rate or shipping company estimate e.g. FedEx) based on which country customer is in. E.g. USA customers get rates from USA warehouse, Canadian customers get rates from Canadian warehouse.2 votes
Membership plugin: Products with a membership-discount should be discounted when buying simultaneously with the membership
Products with a membership-discount should be discounted when buying simultaneously with the membership. This should be the default behavior so I would almost call it a bug rather than a missing feature. I can't imagine anyone expecting this to work differently. PaidMembershipPro has this in their free version but it doesn't work for the Membership/Subscription plugin combo which has a premium price.
Thanks for adding this!7 votes
We have products that have 2 variations: Color and Size.
Customers email us daily (literally 2-3/day) complaining that they can't see the color they're selecting... because they haven't also selected a SIZE.
Since Color is the "root" variation (in fact we use the same image for all sizes in a particular color), it would be nice to show the image associated with the color once that variation is selected (and if there's another image for that PARTICULAR color/size variation, show that once size is selected as well)27 votes
I am trying to set up a storefront for my employees to order rewards for office achievements. Higher achieving employees would get more points than lower achieving employees. It would need limits, so they could not order items worth more points. I do not want it to reference a dollar value for items or to checkout. I have been searching and do not see a WooCommerce plugin or theme like this. I primarily only use Woocommerce and Wordpress, but would be open to suggestions for another solution.3 votes
Points and Rewards plugin:I would like to display mypoints template elsewhere than in "My account page".
It would be great to provide a shortcode to put in a custom page.
This would be a great feature. What do you think about WooCoommerce users?6 votes
Under the membership plans section; under the field:
"Grant Access to people who purchase" - can you add the ability to allow access to anyone who purchases something from a product CATEGORY, not just a product?10 votes
Given you have the "Dynamic Princing" extension, and the "brands" extension...It would be logic to have them integrated. That is, that you could apply a discount on a given brand.
It would be nice to be able to make discounts based on the number of blocks/duration of booking. Consider this price model:
Cost pr. day: 40$
Cost pr. week: 200$
If a user wants to book a single product for 26 weeks, it would mean that I have to create advanced cost intervals up until 26 weeks. Now image 52 weeks. And 100 products...18 votes
