Carousel slideshow type
It would be great if there was a carousel slideshow type in the default options. Like this: http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/examples/static_simple.html
We’re looking into this now when planning out the next few versions of WooSlider. While it may not be included in version 1.1.0, we’re hoping to prioritise this as soon as possible.

Any idea when (if) the Carousel functionality will be added to WooSlider?

Yes I would purchase WooSlider in a heartbeat if they had more of the FlexSlider features - especially if it had the carousel thumbnail feature. This is the only thing I'm waiting for. Please make this happen soon. Thanks.

Yes, I would love the Carousel option! It is slightly misleading having the Flexslider2 link and features from the Wooslider page. Probably better to remove the Flexslider link entirely.

Yes indeedy! I use BoldNews rather than Canvas specifically for this frontpage functionality. If it could be added to Canvas via WooSlider I'd switch in a heartbeat. My site is a news site (scienceblog.com) and the carousel is core to what we do.

Hi Richard,
To clarify, the link to FlexSlider on the WooSlider page is not a demo. It is simply saying that WooSlider is powered by FlexSlider. :)
Hi John,
Please note that, as this idea is "under review", this means that the idea for a carousel slideshow option in WooSlider is being reviewed and spec'ed out by our development team.
Please also note that this is a forum for expressing ideas and not a forum for airing your experience with the product.
We do not support all features offered in FlexSlider at this time. That is correct. The reason for this is that we feel it is of utmost importance to plan and develop each feature into WooSlider in the best way possible for WooSlider. For example, even a feature such as "randomize", which has been in WooSlider since version 1.0.0, is seen differently by users of WooSlider than by users of FlexSlider.
FlexSlider and WooSlider are two separate products; one that powers the other.
We are working on adding a carousel feature to WooSlider. Keep an eye out for updates in your "Dashboard > Updates" screen, after activating your WooSlider license. :)

If you're considering the WooSlider plugin, consider this: It currently doesn't support much of what is shown in the FlexSlider demo link featured on its homepage (specifically there is NO support for the carousel slider). Support is currently "unable to comment" on when/if it ever will. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a waste of money for us. I would highly recommend a disclaimer be added to the WooSlider homepage to acknowledge these limitations prior to purchase.

The Flexslider demo is the link given on the WooSlider page so it is very disappointing to find that the excellent carousel feature is in fact missing from the plugin. I hope that is rectified soon.

Carousel of thumbnails via wooslider will be a life saver! Right now I am using couple of different plugins with wooSlider and they are messing up other features on website. Also embedding so many scripts making the site performance slower. Hey Woo Ninjas your help is needed ASAP.

This was also brought up in a UV ticket. Flexslider2 has the ability for Carousel navigation, so this may be a good sign :)
