  @Anonymous thanks, seems exactly what I want. Just bought a copy of the plugin, going to try it out. Phew that was a close one. Job deadline is in 8 hours... :)

  Really need this functionality.

  @Lucas installed the plugin, creates php errors.

  Anyone else know a hack or way round it?

  @Lucas - how? You can only hide the products, not password protect a category.

  My support link shows up with timeout errors? I just tried it and it works fine here under a new account.

  Try clicking the Premium Support link on http://shop.mgates.me/my-account , you can find it on the blue banner or by clicking the My Account dropdown menu at the top.

  They layout doubles on itself so it shows 2 of the same product and can still access them as if there was no password. The layout returns back to normal if i deactivate the plugin, I tried using your link but it does shows up with timeout errors

  It password protects the products in the category.

  Just tried your plug in, it does not password protect the category and seems to mess up my websites product listings layout.

  I've just updated the plugin. You can now protect entire categories.

  This seems to only do the products which would be a inconvenience for my clients having to enter a password for each of there products. Can this password protect just the category so only one password is required to see its contents?

  I liked this idea so I created this:

  I'm waiting on WooThemes to approve it for WooCommerce (the link above is for Jigoshop)

  It doesn't password protect entire categories, but it should give you a start, right?
