Multi-Currency WooCommerce Extension
Create a WooCommerce extension that allows Multi-Currency.
Michael Visser discussing something for WPeC here - http://www.visser.com.au/blog/wp-e-commerce-multiple-currency-support-for-products/
There is a plugin here for WPeC - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-e-commerce-multi-currency-magic/ - see plugin description below:
"Wp-e-Commerce Multi Currency Magic is a Add-on Currency Widget that allows your customers to view prices of products and Cart in the Currency they desire, When proceeding to checkout Currency Converter then Changes the Currency Back to the shops base currency, and stores it in Wp-admin as both Base Currency and Currency Viewed by Customer. (requires Wp-e-Commerce 3.7.6)"
We have the http://www.woothemes.com/extension/currency-converter-widget/ for simple on-the-fly conversion, and the WPML team are developing something within their plugin for a server-side conversion.

The ability to set your own rates is much needed: http://ideas.woothemes.com/forums/133476-woocommerce/suggestions/2621647-multi-currency-function

What about having two sites? The user chooses US or Can, and they go to the respective sites? That's what I have done. Not running yet.

@Danuta It's a widget. Go to the widgets area and drag it to your sidebar. Simple as that.
If that doesn't help - start a topic in the support forum mate. They'll help you quickly

I just bought the plugin but can't get it to work. It seems to have installed fine and I've activated it, but I can't find where I have to go to make the plugin work. The shop page looks the same... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There is a new addition in WPML plugin for WooCommerce as: "‘Enable multi-currency"
This is included in the newest beta version:
http://wpml.org/2012/04/woocommerce-multilingual-1-1-beta-released/Maybe this is the option we are looking for!

Take a look at www.opencart.com to see a perfect multicurrency and language switch! It even gets the current conversion rates or fixed rates as you wish.

Will this be a TRUE multi-currency extension i.e. for payment gateways that support multi-currency, will it be able to process the transactions in that currency? ...or will it just convert it back to a single currency for processing?

I have now been using my whole day to figure out if its possible to sell a product in different currency (in 10 different countryes with 6 different currencys).. The only solution for multi-stores is to offer the consumer to pay in the countrys respective currency.. is it really not possible allready ?

Sorry to ask again but i have to use muti-currencies for a website right now.
I've bought a WP theme made to use Woocommerce but didn't even realised that Woocommerce wasn't able to do that (i've found WPML for translation in Woocommerce and that's fine).
If you could just answer me about the approximate delay for multi-currencies support in Woocommerce. Because i'll have to change my way if it's not planned in a near future.
I really thank you in advance for your repply.
Thank you

Hi all,
Do you have any idea of when it will be possible to use (see) multiple currencies with Woocommerce?
Or is there any '"hacks" to do it right now? Even with little mods?
Thanks in advance for your reply.Cheers
